Using a one camera one lens approach to photograph a local car show
A little over a month ago I shot some black and white photos at local classic car show, and more often than not these days I find myself approaching my film photography in a more streamlined or minimalist take in regards to the amount of camera gear I carry with me on a photo shoot. Since my style of film photography is more documentary / street these days, taking the the least amount of gear allows me to better concentrate on the moment and the subject at hand vs what camera or lens I need for a particular shot.

If I'm using a 35mm interchangeable lens style camera and I choose to take one camera with two lenses while shooting this particular style of photography, I generally take a 50mm lens and also a 28mm lens, just in case I absolutely positively need a wider angle of view than that to the 50mm.
If I choose to take only one camera and one lens I generally will choose a 35mm lens. It's a nice middle ground focal length lens between the 50mm and 28mm lens. There are also many times when I take a camera that dose not have the ability to change lenses like my Rollei 35 or my Agfa Photo reusable 35mm film camera. These and similar styled fixed lens cameras generally have a lens ranging from 45mm to 31mm which works just fine for this type of photography.
