Fomapan 200 and my Pentax K1000

Over the last year and a half or so I have shot quite a bit of Fomapan 200 black and white film. This has become one of my favorite if not my favorite film stock. Even though this is not a fine grain film I really like the latitude and tonality, especially the range of blacks it reproduces. I develop all my black and white film at home and it may just be the way Fomapan 200 matches up with Clayton F76 plus, my developer of choice, but I really enjoy the results that I get from this combination.

 

I have created a video slide show of photos taken using my Pentax K1000 with this film stock. I own several Pentax film cameras but I have choosen the K1000 for this video since I have shot a great deal of Fomapan 200 with this camera. I guess I enjoy the shear simplicity of this camera. It brings me back to my early days of shooting film and why I started doing photography in the first place.
